euthanasia - ok or not?

May 11, 2007 7:41am CST
DEFINITION: the intentional killing by act or omission by a dependent human being for his or her alleged benifit. KEY WORD: "intentional" # If death is not INTENDED, it is not an act of euthanasia. How do you agree with euthanasia? do we have the right to take our own life? isn't there any solution to even the worst problem other than euthanasia or the act of taking your own life in order to stop self physical misery?

It sounds ok to take out the life to stop the agony. But administering it is a very difficult thing as far as I am concerned.I do not know how guilty free your mind would be after that.

guilt will stay as long as a concerned person will remember to witness one act. a "cold" person of course will not be bothered much. i think.

It all depends how cold you can be.

I must say singlepixel I do agree with euthanasia, If and when the person desides to take there own life is really unstoppable in most cases. I think that it is very sad that we are quite a lot nicer to our animals than our humans. I do think the act its self is very sad, but have worked in a nursing home and with the extreme ill most of my adult life and have been involved in nursing my whole life. I do understand why people would want to take their own life in extreme pain and I also would want this for myself in this case. I think its individual and I respect everyones right to deal with this in their own personal way. But I will sign any paper work here and now if they make it legal.

in the name of humanity, we cannot deny that. we don't really rely on miracles these days.we have to work hard and even pray harder. i respect your comments as they contain very strong points. i just hope the act of euthanasia will however be minimized and under strict control to avoid misuse. thank you Tredale!!!
