How to make your children go to kindergarten happily?

My son is nearly 3 years old, and he will go to kindergarten this year, probably in September. Since he has never left us, I can imagine that it's a hard time for him to go to the kindergarten. As he doesn't like to play with other kids very much. He also has his own taste for food. Such as he doesn't like eating vegetable. All of many conditions show that he needs long time to adjust to the life in the kindergarten. Especially at the beginning, he probably will cry when he can't see us.

My daughter went to kindergarden when she was 1 year old. She adapted the condition very quickly, after 5 days, she began to love the life in kindergarden. So I think there will not be a big problem for him. About the personal characters, I believe he need sometime to suit to the new situation, you should not warry too much about that. Cry is inevitable for the first week or even longer since he is already 3 years old. I bigger the longer to suit to the kindergarden. So just be patient. Good luck.

1 year old is very early to the kindergarten. I hope my son can meet a nice teacher, so that probably it'll be better for him to pass this time.

Kindergarten at 3 yrs old? Here the kids don't start until they are 5-6 yrs old. They start preschool at 3 yrs old which is to prepare them for kindergarten. It is not easy if your child has never been without you. It will be hard on both of you at first. I would suggest maybe putting him in daycare for 1-2 days a week to allow him to get use to not being with you. That will help him make the transition when school time starts. I had to put my 2 yr. old in daycare just so he would break away from me easier. I couldn't get anything accomplished in the house because he was right there attached to my leg. I enjoy being with my kids, but you also have to have some time to yourself once in a while. He's back at home with me full-time again as I am not working now, but it is easier to get things done. He will play with his brother or do things alone now. Good luck...it won't be easy at first, but he will soon figure out that he will enjoy being at school and look forward to coming home to you!

Here children will go to the kindergarten when they are three years old. But some of my friends already let their children went to the kindergarten earlier, maybe around 2 years old. I can imagine that he has to adjust to the hard time at the beginning.
