Do you keep an art journal?

I started working in art journals through various mail art sites, as well as for my own personal collection, in 2003. Do any of you keep an art journal or do you participate in them for mail art projects?

I have no idea what the art journal is dear. What type of art do you do? I have my own album of my art, that I show at my gallerie shows.

Art journals, for me, are a hightly addictive daily (or weekly) exercise. Here's a good definition of art journals I found on the net: (one of which I wrote) http://www.kporterfield.com/journal/illuminations.html http://mixedmediaarts.suite101.com/article.cfm/an_art_journal__what_s_that The type of art I do varies. I work primarily in mixed media doing what's often considered outsider art. You can see some examples on the photo section of http://www.myspace.com/art_explorations.

I was keeping an art journal and doing a lot of mail art projects but I haven't really had as much time this last year because of school and work and personal crisis.

I've been in the same boat. I've been trying to create at least one page spread for each day of the year (new year's resolution and all), but I can't seem to get work and college courses from butting into that plan. I love mail art, too, and have some projects on my desk now . . . I'm going through a bit of a block, though, and can't seem to get to them.
