Would you like being envied?

I know being envied is the deepest desire of most women. Personally, I'm scared of it. Being envied means more competition and a lot to live up to. You somehow tend to attract spite and comments too. No thanks, not for me. What do you think? (referring to both men and women)

No. Absolutely not. I think envy is laced with hate. People want what you have and are angry that you have something they don't.
That's how I define envy anyway.
I would much rather be admired. It is similar in that people would want to be like you, but I think admiration isn't accompanied by hate.
Somtimes I'm a bit jealous of people who have something that I don't have, but It doesn't get to the point of envy. If someone has something that I don't. I am happy for them.
