My allergies have started acting up bad this week. My nose is stuffy, and my eyes are goopy and then watery and they itch and burn. Ugh! It has just been this week that it has really started. Our weather here in Kansas has been real screwy and I think that might have something to do with it. I have honeysuccle in my back yard and climbing roses on the side yeard and they are strarting tro bloom. Right now I can barely see the key board as I had to take my glasses off becasue they were bothering me. Usually I can see the keyboard fine with them off for a while but not tonight.
Is anyone else having allergy problems starting?

Oh yeah, it hit here in Vegas about 2 weeks ago. I feel like a snotty 2 year old, sneezing and blowing all the time. Everybody at work is coughing and sneezing. And here at home my daughter has been dealing with her allergies which are worse than mine.

Are you in Vegas? I lived there several times in the 70's and 80's! I loved it there. AND I never had allergies when I lived there or in Phoenix. except in the summer when the swamp coolers were running. (That's what we called the AC's on the trailers.) And this felt like a head cold more than allergies.

Believe me I know how that is. I hate having allergies. The spring is the worse for me due to being allergic to the flowers blooming but also due to the citrus pollen, I live in Florida and in the spring the citrus trees all bloom.
My doctor started me on Astelin. It's been great. I love the stuff. Yesterday I forgot to take it in the morning and I realized come the afternoon how much it helps. I started sneezing horribly, my eyes were itchy and so was my throat. I'll remember to take it from now on let me tell you. I just hope I have enough to get me through until I can afford to get into the doctor's again.

Do they give you samples or a prescription? Mine is a prescription with one refill so I am good for two months and all I had to do was call and tell the nurse I was 100% sure it was allergies and not something else, all the same symptoms. My doctor and I have a good raport. I like having the same doctor a long time. I hate breaking in new doctors.
By the way my oldest was born in Sarasota. I loved it there. So beautiful and I loved the orange groves and the beaches.

I love rain for just that purpose but as our weather has been mixed up for a few years and we had a freeze when we were suppose to have sunshine and rain, things wilted or diesd and now things are blooming late and ugh!!
Glad you are all feeling well this season!
