How many songs did Elton play background and/or sung for the Beatles? Can you name the songs? I'll give you one: "Hey Jude" (on piano). On the other side, how many songs with Elton John did the Beatles (collectively and/or separately) appear in his recordings? Name them. One is: "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds". All 4 Beatles played and sang background.

Really, I never knew he played the piano for that song. One of my favorite songs from the Beatles is "Hey Jude". Thanks for sharing that.

Yes, Elton played piano as Paul did the vocals, but went uncredited by his own request. Elton playd on a bunch of Beatles productions (and vice versa) without being mentioned.

You know this is something I have no clue. My dads a fan (huge) and he's having a hard time thinking about it. lol I thought I'd never see that day but now he's talking about rod stewart playing the harmonica on "my boy lollipop" and geez he's rambling but you know where I get it from now! He's covered it (live anyway) and performed it with Paul McCartney at the consert for Monserat - didn't know Elton was on the Beatles origanal (was he still a session musican at that time? if so then it's possible) Elton John guested on John Lennon's song Whatever Gets You Through The Night - him and Lennon had a bet that if the song got to number one he'd join Elton on stage. It did and Lennon joined him to perform I saw her standing their.
