Cabbage Soup for Diet does it really works?

I have heard this many times from friends and even in teh ads but i really dont know if its true. I want to lose weight but before i try something i want to know first if it really does work. Or if i was informed well that it was indeed succefssful to those who have tried it. The Cabbage soup is all over the internet whenever you check on Google. But for all those who have tried it can you share with me if INDEED it WORKED? Did you lose 10lbs on this diet for 1 week? PLease my fellow mylotters share your experience. I would also try it if it worked for you. :P Many thanks
