My best friend is a guy and we have been friends over 10 years now.He has been my friend through the good and bad.I can talk to him about anything,can call on him for anything he is always there and I hope our friendship never end.

I have been bestfriends with my friend for 15 years now and he has been there for the good and bad, sickness and health. We talk about everything including people we date, its funny our friendship has lasted longer than some of our relationships. We are like twins and I know we will be friends forever.

Me personaly doesn't have a man or a spouse, but my best friend has a boyfriend she has been with for a long time, and being on the other side I see how its hard for her sometimes, and I have learned to back off of her so that her life with him can grow. at first it was a little hard because he started to come in and take over, and now they live together...but I have come to the conclusion he is her bestfriend right now and the best thing for me to do is focus on myself... but its hard because I would like her to be around more than she is

Well your not alone I don't have a man or spouse either and my best friend lives in New York, he got married a few years back and our relationship stayed the same I even talked to his wife but they are separated now and we still talk as often as we always have. Things should totally stop just because someone enters your life, because you should still have a life outside of a relationship. I have a girlfriend who drops her friends when she is in a relationship and when it is over she calls to cry but does it all over again with the next guy. I believe you should always have a balance between friends and family.

My best friend is ME. Second in line is my husband. Out side that, people have to stand in line. LOL
We all play different roles in life to each and every person we meet. We tend to become the personification of what the person sees or needs from us. It's all very psychological and fascinating.
We all have a fear mechanism built inside us that prevents us from getting too far out of bounds on certain issues. It's referred to as 'going outside the box' or going outside the comfort zone.
Since my best friend is me, I subconsciously look for those same traits in others. As my husband is the only real best friend I have, need or want, it has made our relationship the kind that is special and in a way, secluded or sheltered from the outside world. Friendship = love, trust, truth, the wisdom that he or she would lay down their life, someone you know you can call at 4am and they won't yell at you until tomorrow.

my best friend is by bf, we were very close before we got together and still are. He knows more about me than anyone else. I think if I had a male best friend my bf would be jealous, I would if his best friend was a girl other than me lol. Does your husband ever become jealous?

I not married and he has been my best friend for 15 years, so anyone that I have dated knows about him and doesn't feel any jealous, one there is no reason to and I don't like men that are insecure and have no trust in me.

My best friend is my daughter. She is 29 and she and my 3 grandkids live with me. We have been through a lot together. We talk to each other, lol fight on occasion, but we always have each others back. I also have a few male best friends, but lol some of the guys I meet don't like this. I tell them, hey I knew them way before you.
