This is about people who feel sorry for convicts in jail..... Theres a Federal prison close by and some people are always going down to the prison to attend concerts and plays put on by the convicts. These productions are carefully crafted to mesmerise those who attend. The prisoners play on the emotions, and come off as unfortunates, from poor familys who never had a fair chance in life. I know because I've attended before and I too was almost convinced. But later I heard stories about how they write letters to single women in the community asking for their support when released. Theres an old saying, "Once a Con, always a Con!" and I'm convinced that this is true. These guy are so smooth and slippery its scary! Let me know what you think?

It think it's cool that the convicts can put on shows and plays, yeah they are full of propaganda, but so are the "professional" productions from Broadway and Hollywood. It's situations like this that led me to coin the saying, "Victim=Respect". No matter how much good a person does, they just don't reach the point of respect with most people; No matter how vile a person is, if they can churn up "victim" status, there are people who will follow them anywhere. ~~~~~ "Victim=Respect"~ ParaTed2k's (Not So) Famous Sayings.
