decaying of teeth

I am experiencing now a form of tooth decay. I have a good teeth until one day I found out that one of my tooth already a hole at the middle. I did not experienced aches or anything. I do not know how it became a hole until little by little my teeth cracked and went off my mouth. I do not know what it was... any ideas?

There are portions of our teeth that we can not see. And there are some hard to reach areas when brushing. Your tooth might have a plaque which you oversee or can't reach when brushing , and as the decay progresses , caries in the enamel spreads gradually deeper. And before you know it, great damage has been done. That is why we have to see the dentist every 6 months.
