You know the types, the ones who are too lazy to do any given job properly, cowboys of the world unite and do f all badly!!We have had a builder called bob in to do our house, instructed from the landlord to paint the outside of our crappy sham of a house, but the slob of a buffoon has gone and made more work for himself and bodged jobs up all over the house, he complains of a bad back, turns up when he feels like it and has meditteranean dinner breaks of nearly 3 hours!!Did I mention he was a lazy twit and I detest these types of people, to top it off I am going to have to say that I'll help just so it can be done quicker and so he can piss off!!When I'm making huge money, I shall be hiring a hitman to do away with this toothless slack knacker, and plus he stinks of dog!!!!!!Brushes out! to work I go!!

waynet, Are we on the same wavelength or what? I am the project manager on a building site in charge of tradesmen, electricians and other electrical workers. When I tell them how long they have to do a certain activity, you can be sure to multiply it by three. And how are they "punished" when they bodge up a job and have to do rework? They get overtime to do it. One of the workers has managed to read a whole novel in his lunch hours and when I complain their "smoko" break lasts too long, they call me a hard woman. I have heard all sorts of wimpy excuses why they can't work. And oh, I bet when they go home, they complain to their wives how hard they have worked when truly the majority are prima donnas who are overpaid just to do the job shonkily in the first place. I can totally relate to your predicament but at least I am not paying out of my purse to make these guys work.

Yeah the landlord is paying the no hoper. I just wish I would have said to the landlord that I'll do the work for whatever he is getting paid and then it would have been done much quicker and he won't be here still moaning about the job! I've worked as a painter and decorator in the past and you had to work quick but up to a high standard as you were more than likely on a good rate for your services.

Bob The Builder - Bob the builder is on a mission to wipe out the cowboys
My pleasure Urbangirl. He comes with his own nailgun and hammer, but he does charge for snagging if the job cannot be finished in one hit!!

Bob the builder - bob the builder can he fix it?
You poor sod!! My partner works in the building game and many come with the qualification of lazy ar#e. I dread to think why he smells of dog, maybe this is why he has such a bad back. Good luck in your painting, if you need a hitman I know of one who is silent but deadly.

Hehe oh dear! My boyfriends Dad always complains about this. He works on a building site and has to put up with it every day, i can't imagine how annoying that would get! If he's really irritating you and doing more harm than good and think your right in getting someone else to do the job. I hope it works out for you! And try to refrain from murder..

Oh it won't be murder as such, it would be a payed hit, so everyone wins, er except the builder of stink!!! I offered to help this morning before work, but he declined so the lazy slack knacker has only himself to blame!!

You called bob the builder? (sorry) He's probably appeared on house of horrors and all those shows which rip people off. I personally wouldn't trust someone without knowing someone who they've done it for before. I hope it got be how ya wanted it. ~Joey

Ok Mr. waynet, hope you feel better getting that of your chest:D Mind your blood pressure! I know I also get upset when people pretend to be competent and then it turns out to be the opposite and they are robbing us blind! So I'm glad you are not in a financial position to hire a hit man! That is what MyLot friends are here for you to rant a bit!

I feel somewhat better now, but he's STILL HERE!!!!!!!!! I'm sure you will agree that is does not take one full month to prepare all the outside windows and doors before painting them. A complete slack knacker! Thanks for your response!
