Do You Have a Webcam, What Do You Use it for?

I don't have a webcam although it would be nice to have one when I IM my son if he had one also. But it is not a high priority right now.

I really don't have a webcam specifically, but I do have some cameras that can function as a webcam. I'd like to have one that so I can better keep in touch with people, and let's face it, sometimes webcams can be fun!

yes i have. i use it to chat with family and selected friends. and of course with my lovey-dovey though rare coz of time difference.

I don't have a web cam for I have No reason or a for one. But I do think they are great tool for others for their family, friends ect. Take care and best wishes Stacy

I have a webcam and i use it to talk to my family back home in texas, I miss them so much. The webcam is really a good thing to have, its nice to be able to see and talk to my family back home. I love that I have the technology for them to be able to see us and be here with us in some way.

I have just brought a digital camera and it can be used as a webcam and everythink I do not think I would because the people that I have meet online habve been very crazy and do things with your pictre that makes it crazy

I use my webcam on MSN. I don't use it a lot even if my boyfriend buy me a very good one last year at my birthday. My webcam can follow me if I move :P The other day I did some video chat with one of my firend and we had so much fun. We always laugh together in real and we laugh much more watching each other lol

I've had a webcam before but had to uninstall it as it made my computer run super slow (its an old computer and has low memory and hd space!) I used to use it for chatting on msn and taking stills. My profile picture was actually taken with my webcam about 5 months ago. I should really change it huh? Lol. Carried away? Whatever could you mean? Lol. Im joking I know what you mean. I agree that some things should not be done but I know some girls who earn alot of money by doing things that should not be done! Lol. Regards x

We used to have a webcam but we don't use it anymore and although it is in the house somewhere , I couldn't say for sure where it is or if it even works anymore . The only reason we had got it in the first place was so that I could take pictures and once in awhile the children would use it to talk to family members online but I found it slowed the computer down so much that it wasn't hooked up very often . When we got more money I just went out and bought a digital camera and prefer that much more as all I wanted was to be able to take pictures and be able to show them to family and friends from away that have not seen the children in a long time .

We had one when my husband had already moved to USA and my son and I were still in Samoa awaiting our papers/visas to the States. I actually haven't used it ever since.

I used to have a webcam on yahoo. I don't have it now. I used to chat with friends or family I haven't seen in years and it was fun to see what they looked like and be able to see the person I was talking to. I am going to get another one when my husband goes to Iraq, that way we can see each other when we talk.

i have a webcam...i use it when chatting with my close friends, relatives and my hubby (ony if they ask to view me but if not, i dont put it on). not all people get to see me on my cam especially guys.

my laptop comes with a built in web cam, which i rarely use. i've never tried using it for online chatting though, only tried taking pictures with it hehe.

I have a webcam, but I don't do anything naughty on it. I just use it with yahoo to video chat with friends - sometimes with voice chat programs like Skype. That way, it feels like your long distance friends are right with you. *smiles*

Yeah, we don't get carried away with our webcam. We use ours to chat with my mother-in-law because she likes to see her granddaughter growing up because we don't live close to each other.

I have one that I use fairly regularly to chat with my sister in Canada. It's a great way for her to see and talk to my kids and they love it too. Best of all it's free and saves money on long distance telephone bills (it's the cheap Scotsman coming out in me again...LOL)

i have a webcam, but these days i do not use it very much. i even tried those video chat hosties (NON ADULT!!)but no one seemed to be interested. now i hope that a friend of mine buys a webcam as well so we can see each other and chat. that should be fun!

When I built my computer I of course got a web cam. I don't know what I had in mind when I got it. I guess I just thought I needed to have one. I used it a fwe times on msn with friends when we talked but I have dial up and the cam was laggy and froze up a lot. Besides I kinda really don't like camming anyways. So then I started having all of these people asking me (repeatedly)if I wanted to "cam with them" and it really kind of went from annoying to frustrating to just plain pi**ed me off so I unhooked the infernal thing and haven't plugged it back in. Some people just can't take a polite "no". Even when i tried to explain that I wasn't into that because I was in a relationship and happy and that it just wasn't something I was into, some people got very upset... Sheesh. So now that I have it unplugged people either don't ask me to cam anymore, or I can just say that I don't have a cam.
