We Indians, those who are especially in rural areas face acute shortage of Power especially in summer. A lot of shut downs take place,due to the inadequate supply of power. The power generation plants though, improve the power generating capacity,but fail to meet the country's reqiurement fully. My question is: ARE THERE ANY RESEARCHES GOING IN THE WORLD AS TO HOW TO EXTRACT ENERGY/POWER FROM THE LIGHTNINGS THAT OCCUR? Becoz, you know lightning generates mammoth amount of energy.
