Having trades people in your house

Are you a "must be at home" kind of person when you have trades people around? It never used to bother me if I wasn't at home while I had a trades person there but now I must be there. I have had too many mishaps plus seen too many tv shows with hidden camera footage of thwta they get upto sometimes.
