how do you get along with your mother-in-law?

I think I will get along well with my mother-in-law.here in China,it is said that the relationship between daughter-in-law and mother-in-law is very subtle and it is hard to get along well with each other.I do not agree with which to some extent,what about you?

I agree with you. My wife does complain about my mom now and then and tells me her difficulties. I try my best to understand from her point of view and now realise that her role as both wife and daughter-in-law can be really trying at times.
