When I was raising my children, working full time, taking care of parents, and trying to keep a marriage together, I took no time for myself and taking care of my health. Who could have, I often wonder what kept me getting out of bed each day to begin with. Over that last couple of years, I quite nursing and decided to stay home and take care of the grand babies that were coming along. I also made the decision that I would find the time to start taking care of Nana. Not just my health but over all, emotional, spiritual, and what is particular to a womans heart. This included trying to stop, some of the damage that years of sleep deprivation and dehydration caused from to much caffeine has done to my skin. I do work out once or twice a week, I hate it really :)) but rather I like to go for walks at night alone. I have started to watch how I feed us, not big changes mind you my husband and Boys would have a fit if all they ate was rabbit food, but subtle changes that they just don't notice. So I suppose my goals at this point of my life is just to relax a bit and enjoy now.

Yes, I remember now. I am so forgetful lately. I am almost certain that it is early Alzheimers. You actually just gave me best response for that, and I appreciate it by the way!

My major goal is to create enough income to pay off all my bills and save enough to pay cash for most things. I have also started walking and exercising more. I have big plans and fully expect to acheive every one of my goals and fulfill all my desires. Both you and I and all of us are worthy of nothing less.

Well, I am doing my best in losing weight and keeping it off. I used to be 120 pounds but after my pregnancy, I am at 124 pounds. I want to get my ideal weight back but I never get that close at all. The closest I got was 122 few weeks ago and I gained 2 pounds since then.

You call those baby steps? Sheesh. Those are a pretty big ask in my book. I'm trying to think positive thoughts about me being slim, healthy and happy. I'm tring to eat less and more healthily. They say we attract what we think about and so I guess it's working for me. I've lost 3 kilograms. I try to do things as a lifestyle change, that is, adopting practices gradually so that I can maintain them always. It's working so far. I know I have a long way to go but I'm enjoying the fact that I know I will achieve results eventually. Good luck to you crazy nurse.

I am working on getting fit again. I go to a keep fit class once a week, but know I need to workout every other day. Last week while I was cooking the dinner, i put on my headphones and did a workout inbetween cooking. I even got some weights and did a bit of weight training. With the heat of the kitchen I was sweating, but it was so much fun. My other aim is to get more than 4 hours sleep a night. I usually go to bed around 3 am but I am getting so knackered during the day I have to stop. Every morning I tell myself to go to bed early and when the evening comes I get a second wind. However, if I want to loose weight I need the sleep as I have noticed I have grown in size since loosing out on 6 hours a night. And yes, drinking more water, I go through phases but I know I have to do it all the time. Good luck with yours crazynurse!

Positive; Be kind, caring, helpful and supportive. Remain fighting for what I believe in and not allowing to let people to get to me. Build my sites up and offer more help. (if possible) I would I could manage these. I would also like to do more to help my wife, as I feel I should be the one looking after her. (she does it to much) still I do try. ~Joey
