Have you eaten insects?

A mom bought some toasted Maggots for her daughter at a Farmers Market in Laos. The little girl ate them in the Van on the way home. She enjoyed getting her picture taken as she ate her maggots. Have you eaten insects? Do you think toasted Maggots would be a good substitite for sugar candy for your child?

Hi there, Well Im not one too lie, so yes I have crunched a bug lol. To be exact it was a little sugar fly. Somehow it found its way into my cup of coffee, I took a sip, and crunched on a lump, when I took it out of my mouth and saw it was a fly, I freaked out "BIG TIME" boy was I really brassed off.

ok, well you just refreshed my memory too. One time at school somebody bet me I wouldn't eat a fly...... so i caught one and put it in my sandwich and ate it! I can't remember how much the bet was either. Any way i think if i was hungry and could find some insects I wouldn't starve...... Thanx for you reply!

We in North America are spoiled! We have never been hungry! Insects are eaten in developing countries around the world. I didn't have the courage to eat any either! Hope I'm never hungry enough to have to! Thanks for your retort.
