Knowledge and sense

A lot of people will not agree that knowledge and sense is not the same We know that our life is short and death is acertain. But is our deeds are with this sense? Even if we "know" this we are not trying to change this knowledge into our "sense" We are doing a lot of sins with our "knowledge". But we are not using our "sense" to control these sins We know every thing, but we do not take all these knowledges to our sense.

knowledge is by no means related to sense. they are certainly not the same. controlling the mind is very difficult, as buddha said, the one who conquers his mind is better than the one who conquers 100 enemies in battle a 100 times. knowledge of what is wrong or right do not necessarily lead us to do what is good or right. just knowing something is good doesnt mean we will do it, or knowing something is bad doesnt mean we will avoid it. infact thats the fundamental concept of the "illusion" or maya, as is said... "i know the right and i know the wrong...yet i can neither do the right nor avoid the wrong"

well, if you go into religions deeply again, then according to buddhism, there is no god! so the question that you ask will not be valid there! i believe that all the religions in this world combine but thats a really higher level... now coming back to your question, why does god allow maya or illusion or satan to work? well, if there was no maya, then do you not think that life would be quite boring!! well, think of this as a game, with its own set of rules. each player has to reach the goal but there are obstacles to overcome and lots of work and time required. the one who reaches the goal is the winner!! this perhaps is the idea of god in creating this world, the players are the souls and the goal is to find the ultimate truth!
