Do you save and store your files, or delete them?

When you download anything off the internet, do you save your files and store them in CD/DVD/ANY format, or do you delete them? The internet always changes at perhaps faster than the speed of light, and some content you find can be deleted without a trace. That's why we download things off the internet just in case, be it a cache, storing it in the "My Documents" folder, etc.
I've been doing this since 2001. 2003's when the downloading frenzy REALLY got rolling for me! I stored everything I saved and collected on the internet (unfortunately I also got hit by a virus, and is hoping for a disinfectant for my files to come soon). I got it first stored in CD-R(W) disks (700MB), and then, DVD+RW disks (4.7GB). Currently I may have TERABYTES of files in my collection! And all this was also started when I repeatedly lost my files in my old Packard Bell computer.
Does anyone else save, collect and keep an archive of files in their computer or disks, or do you delete them?

I never download anything from the internet... :-p If I did I would probably store the files on DVD discs.. But of course only if I did ;-)

all of my music files are already in cd format.. after converting them to cd i would immediately delete them in my laptop, then ill do more downloading again.. as for the photos, i still have them in my laptop, and have uploaded them to some loading sites like photobucket, but after i find the best way to store on dvd or cd format, i will also delete them in my laptop...
