A couple of times I have gotten this. I guess some people just don't know the correct way of being polite.

I have always found you polite. I was refering to replies that sometimes I get for my responses. Some people only want to hear one opinion only and get a little 'testy'.

Shaun, some people just don't have any manners. They jump all over you if you don't agree with their point of view. It's happened to me also. Don't let it bother you any more. I'd make it a point NOT to respond to any more of that person's discussions if I were you. The rude replies you can get is one reason that I ALWAYS read through the full discussion and all responses BEFORE I reply. If the discussion starter is jumping all over people who responded, I don't even bother to respond at all.

Maybe he thought he was being funny. Its sometiems hard to read peoples feelings from what they type. I know I have been told a couple times while chatting on yahoo that I sounded upset or angry when I really wasnt. If thats not the case I wouldnt read to much into it, express yourself first and than worry abotu whos toes you may have stepped on especially if you express yourself in a good way.

Yeah that's the best way to do it. I think some people in here on mylot like to argue. I got into it today with someone in a conversation that wasn't mine but I aggree with the subject. This other person keeps having more to add to it. It's making me crazy.

You know what, Shaun72? I was just reading someone else's post about the very same problem! I haven't been on myLot for too long, but it appears that quite a few people are annoyed with the possibility that some members are continuously writing obscene responses to others' discussions, and getting away with it. When reported, according to this individual, he/she was warned to basically stop the complaints, or their membership would be terminated. I definitely do not believe that you should have to deal with abusive behavior online.

I has not happened to me, but I have seen it happen to various friends. Replies like that get reported, & usually deleted. After that, I go through the offender's discussions & replies & report everything that blatantly violates the MyLot guidelines.

I don't have that problem so much, because I don't spend the same amount of time on Mylot as I used to, I just don't have the inclination or interest and what with dicussions being pulled for no reason and you are left wondering whether you are wasting time in responding. I only tend to reply now to my friends discussions which I get as notifications or to people who often reply to my discussions.

I've had it happen in my discussions once or twice. I might respond with something like "thanks for response", but don't comment any further. Or I might not even respond at all. It's better to just ignore it and go on. Not worth getting into a disagreement over? I enjoy MyLot and wouldn't want one or two people to ruin that experience for me.

Me too. When did you join in mylot? 6119 is too much for me. I joined in mylot a month ago, and I reached the minimum payout this month. I can't help to withdraw money from paypal. When do I get money? Do I need to make a request or it will auto pay?
Where are you from? I'm from China, I can't withdraw money from paypal directly. so i have to find a company which can exchang dollars to RMB.

I get replies from people that are not very nice. It shows the immaturity on their part. I would notify MyLot staff of the comment that the person made to you.

You must have hit a nerve or something. So far I've been lucky, but I tend to stick to my friends discussions also. You just never know.

Shaun,
Don't let the buggers get you down! There is no need for people to be rude or smart alecky. I just tend to ignore those people, but sometimes they make me really mad too...Then I vent. Venting is okay...your friends understand:)

I do get that and I guess one can't help getting those kind of replies. It does merit an eye-brow raising from me and most of the time I reply in kind. he he he! But don't let it bother you my friend. Happy posting!
