Has anyone out there done a Bible study class by Beth Moore?

She is a lady out of Texas that has been so blessed to have written books that people take and do Bible studies on. Right now in my discipleship training class at church we are doing one on the ministry of his disciple John. It is really great! Beth explains things in a way that I have never thought of before and it just brings the Bible more to life than ever. If you haven't participated in one of her studies it would be worthwhile to find one at your local Bible book store. Believe me, it is money well spent. :)

My parents have been doing her Bible studies for a few years now, just them. But now on Wednesday nights, our women's group is going to begin them. I've seen her on TV, and have no problem believing how effective her communication is. I look forward to the Bible study.

It's a four week study, so when it is over, I'll tell you how it went. I hope this motivates our women. Right now, several of them are struggling, and I know that I need it for me as well.

The name Beth Moore sounds familiar but I've never done a bible study by her, I'll have to check into this as our small group is always looking for topics and also our women's group doesn't meet during the summer months so would be interesting in finding something I could do alone or with the small group. I'll have to check into her books. Thank you.

She is sooo great!! I did one of hers last year with my old church, I don't even remamber the name of it now though. We watched the videos of her and she is so amazing. She just has this way of getting through to you so you understand things better, for me it was that way. I have some of her books and they are so wonderful I have to pass them on when I am finished with them, I would feel bad just keeping them for myself =)

That name doesn't sound familiar, so I don't think I have done any of her Bible studies. The best Bible Study I ever did was a book called "Bad Girls of the Bible" and I can't remember who wrote it. But it is very good also. It shows that you don't have to be perfect for God to use you in very special ways.

I believe you will receive a blessing, I know I have from every study I have participated in. She is just as down to earth as you and I.
