Well... I never was very good with my grammar or commas.. But I found these olds notes, and I thought sharing them may help me and others when we start to wonder if we are using our commas write.. So at leat know a tiny bit. It says to use adjectives modifying a noun. What are Adjectives? It says to use two commans to seperatetwo or more adjectives that modify the same noun. What is modifying? Do NOT used a comma if the first adjective modifies the combined idea of the second adjective. What is a combined idea? And Example is.. Casey gave a long, boring speech. Doug brought a nice sporty red car. More examples.. The comma was placed into parethesis so you could see it clearer. ---------------- Do you enjoy(,) spicey foods? Amanda brought a tiny(,) collie puppy. Yesterday was a hot (,) humid day. She wore an expensive designer enemble. -------------------- Would any English Majors, or just people who are good at English, Please share more with us, to help us who are still learning how to properly use our commas, how to do so? Thanks, - DNatureofDTrain
