Why! Why Must it be Zombies!?

I hate zombies. I hate thinking about them, I hate zombie movies, I hate zombies! lol. They scare the living daylights out of me and...i hate them!
So why, oh why, did I have to have a dream about them last night. And I gotta say...the "graphics" in my dream was great and they were as scary as sin! lol. I try so hard never to think about zombies and then I have a dream about them....*sigh*
Sorry I'm venting. But anyone else ever get this? Not just with zombies, but anything they hate and are truely terrified of?

Take what you dream about and turn it into something creative...if you've got a video camera make a movie! Here is a zombie anthology contests I learned about not too long ago with prize money...sometime embracing bad dreams can be helpful ina creative sense...I write depressing stuff all the time from dreams and it feels good...

Wow that defeniatly does sound interesting, but I wouldn't even know where to begin. I don't think I would be any good making a film with zombies, or the vampires for the matter. They also scare me lol (although not as bad as zombies-they are the worst!). I wouldn't know anything about how to do it! X.X
I write all my unique, interesting dreams done. And later I may look back on them and choose one, or an aspect in one, to write something.

What's the matter with you? Why are you so terrified of something that's not real? You will NEVER encounter a zombie in your life, so why such fear? Where did it come from? What you need is a big dose of reality! Get that stupid crap out of your head and get on with your life and if you can't do it on your own, then you should seek out help! Good Luck!

:( I know zombies aren't real, but tons of people have fears towards things that aren't real. Zombies are just frightening to me because of how they are portrayed and what they are known for.

I do get dreams about zombies especially when I was still much younger and I hate them too. In my dreams, I am usually being chased by them and I was just trying to get away. Most of the times it would start with me finding myself in a cemetery and I don't know the way out and that those zombies would just start chasing at me. grrr....

mine didnt take place in a cemetary. Mine was at a highschool...not even mine, one I've never seen before lol. But it doesn't matter, zombies will be scary anywhere. This is the 2nd or 3rd dream I've had with zombies and I hate em lol.

This topic is right up my alley! I have lots of zombie dreams, and I usually force myself to dream that I'm flying above them to safety (like Storm from X-Men flying). Anyway, I usually write the dream down with the general things that have happened, and then I add the details if I remember them. This is an excellent way to write stories for your own and others' enjoyments.

I already keep track of dreams I have that are worth remembering. I have one journal filled and I already have some in a new journal! hehe.
I actually had a dream once (i dont go into details) but I was on a plane that was transporting zombies...and they got loose during flight. It was scary! The plane started going down, and that's when I woke up.

Im no longer scared by zombies, i just see them as poor bas***ds that get a meeting with the business end of my shotgun. This may sound wierd but im actually damn scared of a house not far from where i live, because some of the rooms looks identical to rooms from the mansion in Resident Evil 1.
If im really scared of anything, then its wierd aliens and mutated creatures. But if that happen id comfort myself with a nice Conan Barbarian Quote, that there doesnt exist much that good quality steel cant cut.
