Did u get pocket money as kid?

I didnt really got any as a kid, We didnt had that tradtion. At times, I used to steal some coins for icecream n stiff though :D
SO, did u get any as a child? Or do you give any pocket money to ur kids? And do you think, its necessary. If yes, how mcuh u think would be enough for kids and teenager?

My mom used to give me pocket money evryday, but only a little. I have started my son a bank account as well as him having a piggy bank...If I have spare change or a dollar and think about it I'll give it to him, to help him learn saving. He is only 3, but everytime he gets money he wants to run and put it in his piggy bank... I am hoping he will be a saver rather than a spender like me.

Yup, I also remmber piggy bank thingy :D that however is not pocket money - what i meant by pocket money was something that we can spend rather save :D
piggy bank..haha.. nostalgic :)
n whta was that - saver like u, or spender like u ? i got confused there as well:D
