Ice-cream or yogurt... which is your favorite brand?

I was reading up on some of the post here when I came across some threads on ice creams. There are also some on yogurts.
So far, most of the threads are talking about the different flavors you like. None on the brands.
Here in Singapore, there is a variety of brands. And with new one constantly being added to the list, we are spoilt for choices when it comes to buying ice-cream or yogurt.
So far, for all the different brands of ice-creams i have tasted, my favorite would be Ben&Jerry. Their ice-cream has lots of unique flavors and the traditional ones like chocolate is extremely rich in taste and flavor! Every mouthful is a blissful taste of heaven!
For yogurts, I personally like the Meiji brand. Full of bits of fruits and not too sweet.

Magnolia is nice. I especially like their chocolate chip flavor ice cream. I remember the time I was still schooling and the holidays were here and I had nothing to do. Save a few days of allowance to buy a tub. Easily finish a whole tub within the day while watching TV.
LOL... put on heck of a lot of weight during that holiday!

Ben and Jerry's is definitely my favorite brand because of the variety of flavors they have. I also like how they have ice cream and frozen yogurts. I am also a fan because of the environmentally friendly practices that they participate in such as funding wind energy and using non hormone treated cow's milk.

really? I never knew that. I know that they have great ice-cream. An indulgence that I give myself once a month!
heh heh... it is really interesting that B&J has other objectives in their pursuit to sell ice-cream.
Will do a bit more search with regards to that. Thanks for the info.

My favorite brands of ice cream that you can buy at the store are Ben & Jerry's and Dove. If you count buying the ice cream at an ice cream shop, my absolute favorite place to get it is a place called Herrell's. The ice cream there is to die for. Also, they have a lot of wacky and really fun flavors.

I like ice cream, and yogurt. They are both tasty treats, I find them both to be very satisfying on a hot day. Or even in the middle of the winter, they just taste great.

oh yeah...they are tasty treats.
And heck, even in winter they taste good. The one time I had ice-cream during winter was when I visited china a few years back during the winter period.
I can lick on the ice-cream for hours and it will not melt and become a sticky mess. It was fun!

I definitely go for Meiji strawberry yoghurt. Remember not so long ago it was 3 for $2? then cartel like, all the prices increased to 3 for $2.20? Then now, it's even hard to find that bargain. Going for $0.80 to usually $1 each. that's what happens it gets too popular. I only eat the plain strawberry type though. Have tried the rest, but strawberry still the BEST!
On ice-cream, I used to like B&J a LOT, but after a while, it became like there was more 'stuff' in the ice cream than ice-cream itself. like i was having more chocolate, or nuts in every bite than ice cream! current favourite is New Zealand Natural. Go for the hokey pokey flavour. It's a NZ original invention. With little caramel crunchy bits that are not too sweet or over-whelming it's our current top ice cream!

really? you can still find the Meiji at 80 cents?
Most of the time I find MeiJi, it cost a dollar per cup!
There is the occasional offer at Carrefour that goes for 3 cups at $2.40.
My favorite is the mixed fruits. I like the strawberry and the mixed berries too, but prefer the mixed fruits cos it is not so sweet. heh heh... a fellow appreciator of Meiji yogurt!
Hmm... I like the oatmeal flavor that B&J offers. The other all time favorite is the triple chocolate fudge. That one is a real sinner!
New Zealand Natural eh? Ok... will try to get a tub after my wedding. Need to watch the weight till then. Thanks for the recommend!
