Would you believe....

I went to the post office yesterday and saw there was yellow tape across the front. I noticed that one of the windows had been broken into pieces. Would you believe that a deer ran into the window and tore up the inside of the post office by running around scared. He also got blood all over everything. Once the police were able to get the front door open, the deer ran out. The police followed the deer for a short time to make sure he wasn't hurt too bad. The poor deer must of been really scared to run through the window like that. I thought it was really odd because it is right near a very busy four lane street and there are stores and people all around the post office. Have you ever seen anything crazy like this?

I've heard of stories like this one OURDEW. Just like the deer in the headlights, no pun intended. The deer must have gotten scared of something and run into the glass accidentally. It probably got caught up in the traffic and ran for it's life and perhaps it saw it's reflection in the glass and was running towards the safety of it's own kind. That's my opinion...Take care...

I had a deer run through the glass door at the doctor's office I work in. That poor deer was so scared. The deer just kept running around trying to find a way out. He finally found a big window and jumped through it. The animal control people got a hold of him and took him in. He had some cuts on him, but from what I understand, they fixed him up, kept him for a couple of days and then released him back into the wild. You should have seen the mess we had to clean up. Blood everywhere! Thank goodness no one was in the office. It happened earlier in the morning. We ended up cancelling patients for the day and spent the day cleaning up blood.

I've seen stories on the news about deer getting into someone's home or into a business. I've never had anything like that happen or personally know of anyone that's happened too. I imagine the must've gotten scared and just went through the window. I don't think they must realize the glass is there. Poor deer. Hope it's okay?

Wow!what a poor deer...It must really paiful !Sometimes is hard to say ,you will never know when and where they will appear .So it's hard to avoid from them while you were on the road and they might show up anytime especialyearly morning and night.

Wow. Some crazy things can happen sometimes. Perhaps the deer didn't realise that glass was solid - it happens sometimes when birds fly into windows. He may have been frightened by something and thought the post office was somewhere he could hide, and though the window was just a gap in the building.
