For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. Shape: Apllying Our Abilities 1. All our abilities come form God - the average person possessess 500 to 700 2. Every ability can be used for God's glory- So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31 But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today. Deutoronomy 8:18 3. What we are able to do, God wants us to do- We are the only person on earth who can use our abilities. No one can play our role, because others dont have the unique shape hat God has given us. - God doesnt waste abilities, he matches our calling and our abilities. Shape: Using our Personality There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men. 1 Corinthians 12:6 Shape: Emplyoing youe experiences - We have been shaped by our experiences in life , most of which were beyond our control. God allowed them for His purpose in molding us. who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 2 corithians 1:4 "God never wastes a hurt" If we really desire to be used by God, you must understand a powerful truth: the very experiences that we have resented or regretted most in life - the one's we've wanted to hide and forget - ae the experiences God wants to use to help others. Today, your word reminded me again that I am here for a reason, a bridge that through the capabilities and special abilities that You have given me i will be able to reach out and help others around me. Thank you for the expereinces in life that have shaped me , they were never an accident , they happened for a purpose.
