Lack of question marks, causing concern?

I'm not critisizing anyone's English or writing skills, but I've noticed that lot's of My Lotters don't use question marks when asking questions. So, this makes it hard to tell whether they're asking a question or making a statement.
Many of the guilty parties are from the US, so they should know better!
Does this bug you, too?
How the heck are we supposed to know what they're asking if they don't use proper punctuation?

What bugs me more is the knowitalls who apparently copy something like "The lack of exercise is making Americans fat, in research done by the Highfaulting University=-=" I also hate improper punctuation. I think it is the fault of the schools who say "Go with the flow" "use the simplest words" etc. There are many good books out there like the Chicago Book of Style and The Elements of Grammar. All they need is a checkbook, credit card, or cash.
