have you ever been splashed by mud?

you know, the movie kind of thing where it is raining, and then you are waiting fr something or someone, a taxi maybe, and then suddenly..
a car passes in front of you and then the puddle of mud water splashes onto you and your clothes?
ergh! that has happened to me a few times already and i tell you! the litany of curse words that i have uttered were unintelligible! lolz.
what about you?
ever had this experience?

I usually walk home from work, and the walk takes about half an hour. This has happened to me a few times while walking, that cars have driven by and splashed me with huge amounts of mud. One of my winter coats is pretty much completely ruined because of it: I've washed it several times and can't seem to get it out.
I've tried walking on the other side of the road, or as far as possible from the road on the sidewalk, but sometimes getting splashed just happens. *shrugs* Such is life.

yes, you are right.
sometimes, some drivers are just so inconsiderate. :(
i am glad that we already have a car,
and usually my dad drives me to school,
and also fetches me after school.
when we didnt have a car, i had to endure the heavy rains
and being splashed on by other cars wasnt really an enjoyable time for me. :(

When I was a kid I would sometimes walk to school, it was only about a 1/2 mile. Only bad thing was that it was on a major road which followed the base of a steep hill so if it rained there were huge puddles all over the road. I took a few good drenchings in muddy water. It hasn't happened recently thank goodness!
Sorry you've had that happen to you. I'm sure if it happened to me I'd make sailors blush with my language. :D

so i assume that the window was open while you were riding in a car, right?
well, that has also happened to me.
it was a rainy day,
and my dad was driving me to school.
we still had a jeep back then, so it had no doors.
a car overtook us and then it happened!
the mud splashed all over my uniform and my dad got so mad at the driver.
i arrived school with my uniform all wet and i had to borrow a spare skirt from the lost and found. ;0

Yeah i have!lol it was my highschool years and it happened while i was on my way to school, it was a rainy day and suddenly a car passed by and splashed mud on my uniform. I went home and was absent halfday because of that. One worst thing happened than that was some spit on his cars opened window and landed on my foot! GRRRRRR.. I was trembling with rage but there was nothing i could do, the car just speed up. Nasty huh.. anything worst than that?

i think we kinda have the same experience..
high school days, rainy day, mud splashed on uniform..
the only difference was i didnt go home because we were about to have a quiz. ;0
i was too young to be able to interpret what had happened so my dad was the one who got really angry! lolz. ;0
i can remember that the car sped up though.. ;0 he must have been scraed of my dad.. ;p heehee!
