USB recording

I'm new to attempting to record live music through the USB port and need help. I have recently purchased a mixing board with USB capabilitie but I didn't receive any kind of recording software so I need to know where I need to start as far as software goes. I have a boatload of outboard analog effects and processors but do I need any of them anymore? HELP me please.!!
