What type of ringing? And what is the duration for which it lasts? Usually a sort of a electric sound that lasts for 10-15 seconds is normal for everyone. But if it is something louder or different to you and stays for a long duration, then I would suggest that you better show it to an ENT specialist.

Yes, a high pitched noise which suddenly comes when you sit down sometimes, or get up, or make a movement, and then it gradually fades away, right? That happens with me several times, happens with everyone, I think.

I experience the ringing once in a while too...it doesn't hurt though, but it is annoying. I searched up info to better explain ringing of the ears for you.

I get that every once in a while and it's painful as hell. Apart from the teeny constant noise, it actually does feel painful, and I usually just wait until it disappears. I don't know what causes it, but I'm guessing it has something to do with air pressure.
