How do we get mouth sore?

Does anybody knows the cause of mouth sore? why is it all of a sudden appears in our mouth? and why is it lasts for a couple of days to heal? And its painful!!!

If it is like the sores I get, they are caused by stress or allergies. I don't know why I get them, but I always have. I treat them with hydrogen peroxide to help them get better. Also if you get a lot of them, you can go to the doctor and get an anti-viral to help get rid of them.

I only have one huge sore right now... its almost a week now and just starting to heal. But its still painful sometimes. Thanks Aurone :)

causes of oral ulcer: they are caused by an overreaction by the body's immune system. factors that appear to provoke them include fatigue, stress, illness, injury from accidental biting, sudden weight loss, food allergies, and deficiencies in vitamin b12, iron and folic acid.

With me it's too much chocolate. If I knew when the cut off period is (other than getting on the scale and looking at the extra two to ten pounds I gained) it would be helpful. But I used to get it around Christmas.
