What happened to all the freebies!?

There used to be lots of free stuff and samples to get online, but now it seems that you have to go through those sites where you have to sign up for things to get something free, even samples! Do you know of any sites that still just offer free stuff....for free?

I got a free RichJerk eBook once from a website. I think that is the best free stuff I had received cos you have to spend like 40 plus bucks to purchase the Rich Jerk eBook. Im intending to spoil market and sell it for $1. lol. Let me know if you want the blog link where I got it from and I shall pass it to you in my reply. :)
