How Much Junk Mail Do You Get? / myLot

Are you like me...do you get more junk mail than real mail? What do you do with it? Do you open them or even respond, or do you just throw it away without hardly a glance? For me, I do take a look at the envelopes of junkmail and if I find it might be interesting, I will open it and check it out. Otherwise, out in the recycling bin it goes!

I would say I get 5 or 6 junk letters every day. I open most to see what is is, but many just go straight into the recycling bin. It really seems such a waste of postage and paper because most of the mail isn't even targeted correctly, trying to sell me stuff I've never wanted.

That's exactly it, Derek_a! I just don't understand why companies do this. I've got this one band that sends me an invitation for a credit card at least once a month. Each month, it's the same thing...."respond by (date) to get your low introductory interest rate!" You'd think they'd get the point that I don't want one!

I have at also pushed everything back into their pre-paid envelope and set the lot back to them. If I could just remember to do that each time, they would soon get fed-up of paying two-way postage, that they may stop.
