the reason to this from chefs or food experts cause it will be more prone to germs, bacteria...and can cause indigestion or difficulty in digesting food.. Here in our country when there is an occasion a buffet style is being prepared thus having the food out for hours, i recently knew about this trivia.. if food is out for more than the required time thefood especially the meat will have bad effects when eaten, so be aware of this..^^ in your homes are you practicing the same thing with i? or you keep it already.?? especially when having parties are you like me?

A little awareness of such things is good. But don't be over worried. Traditions and conventions cannot be ignored totally. Don't go after every scientific tip. Thank you.

Yeah, it's good to take the common sense precautions, such as with foods which require refrigeration; however, don't get hung up on everything you hear. Provided the food is properly cooked and covered, it probably won't kill you, even if it does make you a little sick. Blessed Be

Yes, this is a very timely post for those of us who live in the United Kingdom, as the dreaded barbecue season is almost upon us. Men pretend to be superb cooks, labouring over a charcoal grill either charcoaling or not cooking sausages, chicken and the like and there is a lot of al fresco eating. There are lots of factors in the length that food can be left outside of the fridge, such as room temperature, the presence of flies, pets or young children with sticky fingers. If the room is fairly cool food will be safer for longer as long as it has a plastic cover to prevent contamination. However, I must be honest in my home food does not last that long, my guests descend upon it and it vanishes :-)
