Wow..............I haven't been on here in months, just received notice of a friend and thought I'd check back. Thankfully I did. My husband is a high school football coach. One of his players was killed in a car accident Tuesday afternoon. Our home has been either eery quiet or full with kids. I'm not looking for words of wisdom, I just wanted to get it off my chest. The boy was an awesome athlete, quiet, humorous, gentle, a leader, smart. But, he didn't wear a seatbelt, drove like a madman and it ended his life. His parents will never be the same again. His little brother won't have him to look up to anymore. His grandparents won't have that seat in the stadium to say " that's my grandson making the touchdown ". My words of wisdom to all of you and your loved ones.....put that seatbelt on and just follow the rules. Make time to say " i love you ". Don't ever leave angry. We're all human and make mistakes, own up to them and be the best person you can be. Thank you.
