Hi all, I was just wondering how you all mark your rows of veggies in your garden. My husband is the gardener cause I kill plants and he normally will mark the rows with sticks that are lying around but we got a new pup in January and she tends to steal the sticks. So my husband got smart and decided to mark the rows with bricks. So far the pup has left them alone. LOL. What are your creative ways to mark your rows in the garden?

We mark the rows with bricks. We keep them a bit slant rather than keeping them flat on the ground. We keep them supporting each other like that of steps. It looks good to watch the plants within those brick-step like creation.

Hi tmlnmr,
I make mounds to put my plants on, not too high. I put the tag of the plant on the end of the row. I also have a soaker hose at the top of the row next to the plant. Every year I do something different, just trying to make it better than the year before. Last year I used bamboo sticks to mark the rows and watered by hand.
Peace, Totty

I marked mine with sticks I found in the yard too, unfortunately my dogs ate them, and the beans I planted too! I don't know why I bothered this year, I've killed every plant I've ever had!
