As God has created us to mortals, we are not really perfect but he gave us gifts to to dream and an intelligence that we need to develop. He created us in his image because we so very special to Him.So as rule, we need to strive to be more intelligent so we will not make anymore mistakes or sins that should explain why although we are not perfect, we need to strive to become perfect becasue that is our primary mission in life.

wow, but in a way that we aren't striving to be like him(powers) or to excel more...i mean you are wanting to be more than him..oh, i think some people are like that..but you are right we should strive hard to be able to lessen our sins and to protect the environment or the gifts He has given to us, so to us to live more...thanks..good!!

Striving for excellence allows us to continually improve ourselves, even if we never achieve perfection.

This is dry logic. It is just like God is love and love is blind, so God is blind. Logically correct but in practice no. Practice better your performance, so better to practice. Thank you.

Practice makes man perfect. I agree with this. Because there is another proverb also, "Try try but dont cry", We have to try until we reach the target. Here we have to make muc practice, then only we will be perfect. Everybody will be perfect, when they do a lot of practice, with concentration on it. Evrybody will get succeeded then only. But doing very less practice and seeking high level of perfectness, I dont think that it will be done. If also i will be done, then its all only by God's grace. For example, for a tennis player a practice is must.If she/he doesnt make any practice and directly enter into the play field, no use of it. Similarly this will be applicable to all fields(Not only in playing field).

Yes a lot of expressions are somewhat confusing, but for some of them, I think that may be part of the point, to make you think.

it is like nobody is perfect but he can be made better and better, means perfect in this phrase i think that perfect is not used exactly as it's meaning it is just close. nobody is perfect but in some things one is better because he practices it.
