Now my yellow/peach colored Lilies are starting to open up. The
front is looking good. Except that the first batch is dying off
already. That bites as I wanted a photo with a huge amount of
them in one shot. Maybe I will soon though as I've still many
that have yet to open. Thanks for viewing this and also for
loving my gardening discussions.

Those are absolutely gorgeous! Of course, all of your plants are so beautiful. You do such a good job with them. Thanks for continuing to post your pics hon. I love looking at them. I'm starting to get some pretty good ideas for what I want for my yard. Don't be surprised if I start bugging you for tips soon. (If you don't mind, that is. LOL)

Since planting my Lavendar that's all I smell now. With this
thick humid air today the scent was all over the yard. Loved it.

They are quite magnificant. Very sriking colours.
Hopefully more will open at approximately the same time.
I think this is the way with some of these lillies.

This is your loveliest photo of your garden flora so far, grandpa!
I love the tiger prints in the centre. Such rich colour! Are these a variant of tiger lily? I like lilies but sometimes their scent can be overpowering. For weddings I prefer not to use lilies but other less 'loud' flowers so that it doesn't overpower the occasion.
keep gardening! you definitely have a green thumb.

You like it that much huh? Thanks for the kind words also. No these are Asiatic Lilies. I believe Tiger Lilies have a downward appearance of them. There is a difference.

As I remember, when I had them, they seemed to open up with different colors at a time, which is weird. Like the way your are saying yours are doing. Maybe you want to keep a journal, or better yet a photographic record of each color, and see if it follows suit next year. I gotta get me some more. I had some that were tan. I bought a mixed bag of the bulbs at a year end sale at a garden store, and had flaming red/orange, lemony yellow, and tan. I never grew any of the pink ones. Time to start again.

Nahhh keeping some type of recore is even more work. HAHAHA! I just tend to them and when they open I snap away for here is all. HAHAHA!!! I don't even recall what other colors I have. Isn't that funny? HAHAHA!

They are beautiful, but you know that. It must be hard work getting all of those flowers to look so gorgeous with the weather you have.

Not really. I am always outside tending to them. As soon as the flowers start to wilt I take them off tossing them in the lawn for the rabbits to eat. I water them almost daily also. And I weed them a lot too. So it's work but well worth it to see their beauty when opened up.
