I heard from the police officer last week - he said he got the video tape from the store and took a taped statement from the cashier that was working at the station next to the girl who stole my money. I was very happy to hear that. I went home on friday to find a letter from the courts saying that i must appear tomorrow night for court regarding this matter. WOW--- that was fast... I am amazed how quickly this came up. Now I'm nervous...lol. I have a feeling this girl may not show up- in which case they will put a warrant out for her arrest. If she does- who knows how long before I will get the money.....I will keep you all posted- hopefully I won't be too busy to get a quick post in on Wednesday to fill you in- this is the last week of school so its crazy around here. Wish me luck!!!

I did not htink this would happen so quickly- it's great, however, I hate public speaking- i get so flustered and I will have to get up there and tell my story. I hope my husband goes with me!!

Oh Good luck! I so hope she shows up- and feels bad and just has the money with her- I mean if they already have evidence and everything- just pay it back- I'm sure she will still get into trouble for stealing it in the first place- You are being very positive on this whole situation- I hope the outcome is positive as well- and quick! Good luck and keep us posted!

this is great news my friend. I have read your story from the beginning when you lost the money, then the video and the girl hiding the envelope, now this. I wish you the best of luck.

Shambuca, I have been wondering what all had happened with your money being stolen. Please fill us in after you go to court as to what happened. I got very nervous when I had to go to court (one time in my life) I was just nervous and I had never been in a courtroom, etc. But I was a witness to something and I had to go to court. I wish you lots of luck and I hope you get your money recovered and she has to do extra or serve her time in jail for stealing. I hate theives. Keep us posted
