I'm so sick of people putting down the Harry Potter storys

Noo, Harry Potter is Evil! All those who read it will burn in hell because it was dictated by Beelzebub himself to trap unwary souls! It was written so that people will practice witchcraft and the occult! And the moon is made of cheese that is eaten by a cow. hehehe I'm just kidding by the way if you haven't noticed. And yeah, it's only serious if you take it seriously. I can't understand why people arrive at that conclusion.

I think these people are really foolish. Compared to other books and movies that I'd say are actually demonic, they spend way too much time with Harry Potter. The fact is, whether or not it has witchcraft and magic, it does teach good valuable lessons to kids about good and evil, being a good friend, a kind person, etc.

I had a discussion with someone a few weeks ago who went on and on about why Harry Potter sucks. When I asked point blank what was so bad about the story, he confessed that he'd never read the books or seen the movie. His issue? The hype. He kept saying that a book is way too commerical for him when there are midnight readings and people dressing up as characters, and that the hype puts him off so he'll never read them. But if masses of people love them they can't be very good, because "the masses" only read what they're told to like. I told him he was a moron.
