Has anyone else had trouble using a Gizmondo GPS?

We've borrowed a GPS system called Gizmondo from my brother-in-law while travelling round England, but it's very un-user-friendly. This isn't helped by not having a proper manual. Nevertheless, usually you can work out which buttons do what on machines like this, but there are some things with the Gizmondo that have defeated our ability to find out what to do. Turning it off, for one thing!
