Those have a blog, do you use Technorati?

I have a blog and I keep hearing that having a high rank in technorati.com would enhance your blog's exposure to readers. I registered some time ago and I really wondered if it's helping me. I know many of you have a blog, do you use this technorati thing? How do you find it useful?

Actually, i do use technorati on my blog. To be honest, i have no idea why.. but ppl (other bloggers) have said it's a great way to increase rank and traffic. I think when ppl tag your blog as favorite, it increases your rank and therefore, more traffic to your blog. I haven't done much to my blog or even done much blog hopping yet so i don't know whether its helped me much. Been quite occupied with mylot here! :)

Right! Actually I have been quite confused *laughs*. I was a member for sometime and I didn't really use that service that much. Since I have moved my blog to somewhere, and now I have to investigate all the links and stuff again and I am indeed wondering what's the purpose of it *laughs*. Oh you have a blog! Mind sharing with me? I can add you to my fav in the technorati and see how it turns out for ya!

I use technorati and I have found the best way to increase the rank is by link exchange. I use blog reviews as a method of link exchange. The way it works is I review your blog and you review mine. The review includes links to the other persons blogs. I've also found you get more visitors from reviews.

I've just checked the link and it did work, thats strange. Anyway if you look on my left column (when it finally works) you will notice that 58 blogs link to my blog. That made my technorati ranking 94000 roughly. I link gives you a ranking of 3,700,000 so you see it doesn't take all that much to increase your ranking.

Can't get into your blog! I will try again later. I understand what you mean and I think you really need a lot of links to rank high in the technorati! *phew* Mine is mostly related to beauty stuff and it would be hard for me to review other sites. But I have another blog which I am currently fixing the sidebars, I think I could do that on that other blog and I will let you know!

I have no idea too! But I guess you need to have a lot of links point to your blog, and then it would increase the rank in technorati and bring more visitors to your blog! That's what I have guessed so far!

I use technorati too~! I use it too ping my blog so people would know when it's updated. According to my statcounter, there are some people who find my blog through tags in technorati so I guess it does help with the traffic and rankings of my blog. I'll visit your blog too~! You could get the link of my blog from my profile.. :D
