I have a new addition! Need Ideas!

my aunts chihuahua had puppies last thursday, and since then, my aunts kids keep picking them up and i don't know if this is why but now the momma is slowly killing them by suffocation. 8 born 3 down 5 to go. so my aunt called everyone and said if u want them just come and pick them up b/c the momma is killing them. so i ran to the store bought the puppy formula and a bottle and syringe and now she's home with us. so any ideas why she was killing her puppies and any girl puppy names?

Awwwww thats a great idea my friend. I hope everything works out. I dont see why it shouldnt. How about Molly and Maggie the M&M kids.LOL And Sweety and Sugar. Lets us know how everything is working out. Good Luck

More than likely, she cannot bond with them because they have the kids scent all over them, she is not recognising them as hers. If this is her first litter too, maybe she is so frightened with the kids around disturbing them and her.

that's wut my mom said, she told them not to be getting the puppies too often. it's her second litter, but there r so many people in and out of that house, especially kids, so that's probably wut it was. thx!
