Is it time to dejunk your hard drive?

Today I noticed that my computer hard drive was running a little slow, so I started dejunking my hard drive. Turns out there are over 1000 MB's of documents, ebooks, music files, and videos on my hard drive. Don't ask me where they came from. For awhile I went through a collector phase. If someone was giving it away free, then I had to have it. Well, now I'm having to live with it! No more! Don't get me wrong. I have some amazing files on my computer. So, they're not all going into the trash can. But, the good stuff is stashed in with the junk, so something has to go. So, what about you? Have you dejunked your computer hard drive lately? Did you find any hidden treasures?

I don't understand if you put that files on there or maybe a relative or friend did, if you even have not idea from where it files are coming, you would be in a problem, because some bad people are using random computer on internet for hide files, like adult videos and music video and songs that are under copyrights, I have find hidden files on computer that I bought used so they coming with a lot of hidden files, but they were from the before owner, when I stated to use internet, I wanted to download all to my computer like e-books and videos, but I just made my computer full of things like software that I don't know or remember for what, so I deleted almost those files and now I am just downloading a few software for storage, I prefer download it again and keep my hard disk clear, when I didn't , it was worse because I was spending a lot of time trying figure out which files I would to keep.

Actually, you can store as many things as you want on the harddisk but as long as you leave sufficient space for the Operating System and the programs to run efficiently, that's fine. Have you tried clearing your computer of spyware and virus? Try housecall.trendmicro.com . I would recommend you download crap cleaner at www.ccleaner.com and use it once a day. Also, defrag your hard disk with this free program at http://www.auslogics.com/disk-defrag .

Well, seeing as my computer is filled with nothing but junk, I think it's always time to de-junk it. However, I always start with actual junk files like the files in the Temp folder. One time I cleared that and freed about 3gb of space. I was so happy.
