Fred Astaire was a very big name star in the 1930s.He
started dancing and singing at an early age with his
sister Adele as his dance partner.Fred's 1932 screen test produced the famous description "Can't act. Slightly bald.Can dance a little". He went on to establish dance as a cinematic form.Fred Astaire went
on to become a highly successful actor, tap dancer, and recording artist. His partner in most of his musicals was the lovely Ginger Rogers.
