I thought somebody might find this instresting as I did.
So any first born sons out there thinking they are smarter?
Well now there is a study to prove you right.

They tested men in the army, but the results probably go for girls as well. They figure the reason may have to do with family resources. More time and attention is given to the first child, and then each gets less and less the more siblings they get.

I doubt this.
It's down to how "well" the child learns and a lot of it is done by creation of the baby and the progress to birth.
Pinch of salt for myself. (as my brother was the first) and I won't say anything. :P

Yup. Beeing from Norway, and first born, my partner and I have celebrated these findings today. Our siblings have kept completely quiet about it. It did not come as much of a surprise to either of us - we have long know this to be true - but now we have proof. Jippi!

I have a problem with this theory. I know some first born sons who are not smarter. Surely, others can say the same thing.
