I noticed alot of people asking about the definition of HTTP It means HyperText Transfer Protocol A protocol used to request and transfer files, such as web pages and components of web pages over the internet or other computer network.

A protocol is not only for request and transfer the files it was some rule and regulation of the internet and that protocol was use only internet and not for other. Which is related to internet are called as protocols. there was lot of protocols that do there works in internet. Protocals like POP, SMPT, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, and more are there.
