i have lots of girl friends here who cannot have a relationship with guys since their parents told them not to have one... parent's reasons are... 1. not yet the right time to have a commitment 2. they believe their daughter cant handle a serious relationship yet 3. have to study first hmp....when is the right time to have a boyfriend? when will you know if you are already ready to love? is love managable to reject? does love surely can destruct you from studying hard? OR IS IT GOOD TO HIDE THE RELATIONSHIP TO THEM (PARENTS)?

Sure thing that my parents doesn't want me to have a boyfriend until I graduate from the university. The reasons are the same thing. They said that it's not the time to love, it's time to study. I couldn't help it so I hide the relationship to them. They were angry but what can I do? I mean, love is irresistable. When it happened, just can't stop it! _

Yes falling in love will affect your studies. It takes a lot of maturity to enter into a relationship. It isn't good to hide something from your parents either... but..., but only you can decide whether to fall in love or not. You have to experience it yourself. I think the best way to go about it is to be honest with yourself and to your parents. Cheers! Happy Posting :)

In India It is parents' duty to arrange marriage for girls. They want the girls to be economically independent. They send their children to college to study and not to indulge in love. But sometimes cupid strikes a bolt on the young people. At that time problem arises.

here in Philippines...most of us follow our heart... young Filipinos have high respect to their parents but also we know when to fight for our freedom... actually... we are freedom lover so we do not allow any people to manipulate our will especially if its all about happiness and marriage... unless their is a good point that makes us realize why we should follow...

I do not think that anyone is ever ready for love at all. My parents were that way when I was growing up, but I had a lot of boyfriends without them knowing about it. I did manage to do good in school and have a love too. So, I am sure it is possible for them girls if they play their cards right
