Do you think that you mark the best response fairly?

I think I am responsible to it. When I have lots of replies, then I will read them carefully and select the best response. I don't give the best response to someone because of they are my friends. Friendship doesn't work here:) I like to be fair. So please forgive me, my friends. If I don't give you the best response, please don't feel down. When your response is the best, you will deserve it.

Hello again, my friend.
Yes. I do believe that I choose carefully before just giving out the Best Response Award. I am not the kind of member that creates too many discussions. I think I'm going to dedicate a special day of the week just to that, when I have around 2.000 friends or more. By now, I'll just keep adding them and responding to their discussions, but who knows in the future?
Hey, as you say, friendship should be put aside when choosing the Best Response. I am glad to know that you choose honestly the ones who are going to receive your award. It can mean a lot to some people, and this is why everyone should make some effort in order to reach it.
However, I have to admit you... It just sucks when you choose a Best Response and, after that, a better response appear. You can't withdraw nor undo what you have already done. Sad, isn't it?
Respectfully,
Munhozmib.

But in fact I will decide the best response for about one week, so I think I have already offer enough time for people to reply to my discussions. I will never make a best response within a day, although I have seen this quite often from others.

I'm always having a hard time selecting my best responses. Especially when my discussion has a lot of responses. What I usually do is pick a random page. Then I read all ten responses in that page and mark the best one. I know it's unfair.

I didn't know it's that important. I never marked any response and it's my 4th day since I joined myLot. I think I'll read them all again and choose the best. Better late than never :-)

Hey yl,
I'm the same way-I don't give the best response just to friends I try to give it fairly to the one who helps me most in the discussion or the one who paid the most attention to what I was asking.
However,I love to give out +'s to my friends even if I can't respond & especially double + my friends b/c I think they deserve it |;)
+'s 2 U my friend

Yes I think I do too! I read every response carefully and very often there are more than one good response, I have to go back and read those again and let my brain decide. I love doing it in a fair way and I think it will be fair to all mylottians here. Only doing it in this way would create a better environment here. Well, if everyone rates the responses according to the friend list, then I think the new comers would be upset!

I think I am fair. I pick whichever one I really feel is best, irreguardless on who posted it, friend or not. I think the best answer honestly deserves the honor of being chosen :)

Hi, youless.
As for me, I do mark them fairly.
Yeah, we're in common to some extent. We won't choose them just because they're my friends. No matter who they're, only if the response is well enough and I'll mark it as the best one.
Let's share opinions with others and mark the best one fairly.
I think those who are given to would be pleased after their response was marked fairly.
Happy posting!
Have a great day! :)

I think everyone feels that they are being fair. Why would we give it to someone who we feel doesn't deserve it, after all. Sometimes I see discussions of people saying that other's don't give BR to the best one, which I think it's silly because everyone has different opinions. Plus, we ourselves might be biased and think our response is always the best! Lol.
I usually give BR if someone made me laugh, or if someone wrote out a very lengthy reply that shows effort. Sometimes both of those are present in a discussion and I'll mark another shorter, and down to the point reply. So it really just depends on my mood! =)
